PT Pertamina (Persero) conducted a test on fuel restrictions Pertalite for the car this September. The maximum purchase is 120 liters of Pertalite per day.
According to Pertamina’s company secretary Patra Niaga Irto Ginting, this process is temporary. He said Pertamina was conducting system and infrastructure tests.
“It is temporary as the default in the system. Where we are testing the system and infrastructure,” he told detikcom on Thursday (9/15/2022).

He ensured that no vehicle owner could violate this restriction test. Because the system will register the vehicle and block it up to a certain limit.
“Nobody will violate it, because the concept is that when it reaches the maximum limit, the system will be blocked. The pumps at all service stations will not be able to dispense beyond that limit,” he added.
This limitation applies to the BBM type Pertalite. Meanwhile, the diesel fuel type follows the rules of BPH Migas.
The purchase of subsidized diesel for consumers of motor vehicles in the land transport sector is governed by the Decree of the Head of BPH Migas n. 04 / P3JBT / BPH Migas / KOM / 2020 related to the control of the distribution of certain types of fuel oil by commercial entities that implement allocations to consumers using the transport of motor vehicles for the transport of people or goods.
The purchase of diesel for private four-wheeled vehicles is a maximum of 60 liters per day. Public transportation of people or goods on four wheels is 80 liters per day and public transportation of people or goods on six wheels is a maximum of 200 liters per day.
Irto added that Pertamina has not implemented rules to limit subsidized fuel consumption through MyPertamina. His party is still awaiting the completion of the revision of Presidential Regulation 191/2014 relating to the provisions of the public that is entitled to the use of certain types of diesel fuel (JBT) and special types of fuel for special assignments (JBKP) pertalite.
