JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV — Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir asked the public not to make a fuss regarding the stock of Pertalite type of fuel oil (BBM) which is considered scarce at a number of public fuel filling stations (SPBU).
Erick ensured that the Pertalite fuel stock was sufficient, amid the increase in the price of Pertamax, which made a number of people migrate to RON 90 fuel.
“The government has said that the sources are sufficient. There is no need to make a fuss,” said Erick Thohir as quoted in the Kompas Morning program in Jakarta. Compass TV, Sunday (3/4/2022).
Erick also said that Pertalite was included in the green fuel category. His presence, said Erick, was intended by the government to further minimize the use of Premium so that it could reduce air pollution.
“And the government is present, how Premium is changed to Pertalite. Good Premium or Pertalite? Pertalite. Moreover, Pertalite is included in the Green BBM category so that what is called air pollution damage can be reduced,” he added.
