TRIBUNNEWS.COM – There is a discourse that the government will increase the price of Pertalite type of fuel oil (BBM).
This news blows after the price of Pertamax (RON 92) fuel rose recently.
The discourse of the Pertalite price increase was mentioned by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan.
In response to this, Pertamina spoke up.
Acting Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, SH C&T of PT Pertamina, Irto Ginting said that the increase in Pertalite fuel prices was the government’s authority.
Because, Pertalite is included in the specific fuel assignment type (JBKP).
“Because Pertalite has become a JBKP, as a special fuel for assignments, of course the authority or price adjustment rests with the government.”
“We as implementers will of course carry out what the government directs,” said Irto, quoted from YouTube shows Compass TVSaturday (2/4/2022).
However, said Irto, until now Pertamina has not received instructions from the Government to increase the price of Pertalite.
“Until now, we have not received any direction in the near future for price adjustments in Pertalite,” he explained.
