Persuaded to be the missing little English girl, a 21-year-old German asks for a DNA test

Illusion or real clue? A young woman of German origin and residing in Poland claimed via a dedicated Instagram account that she is the famous missing Madeleine McCann. The little Englishwoman had been reported missing on May 3, 2007 in Praia da Luz, Portugal, and the case was the subject of global media coverage.

On her Instagram bio, the 21-year-old wrote, “Help me, I need to talk to Kate and Gerry McCann. I think I could be Madeleine”. She further adds that she needs a DNA test to confirm her theory.

Called “@iammadeleinemccan”, the account is followed by more than 600,000 people and continues to gain new subscribers.

On a video shared on Friday, she highlights physical similarities with the little English girl who disappeared sixteen years ago, such as moles, or even her smile.

In another video broadcast live, she assures that her intuition comes to her from her grandmother, who told her that her family knew that she had been injured by a pedophile.
