Personnel marketing via Spotify: JobChallenges are now on your ears. Clever!

Perhaps you remember: I had the startup here last summer WhyApply presented. Or to be more precise: WhyApply founder Michael Benz introduced WhyApply in a guest post and described how the WhyApply offers JobChallenges could possibly be an intelligent alternative to the cover letters that are becoming more and more obsolete.

Just a quick reminder: JobChallenges are so-called small cases, i.e. tasks from the professional and life reality of the respective company, which the candidate can work on and submit to the company.

Advantage for the candidates: You can see immediately what the company is doing and receive a small “Realistic Job Preview“.

Advantage for the company: Instead of an exchangeable cover letter, you will receive your first small letter work sample.

Now there is something new from WhyApply: The JobChallenges there is now also “on the ears”, so to speak as “audio to go”. Via Spotify.

The principle is very simple: The JobChallenge is set to music and you can listen to it. That means you can listen to what the company wants from you or what your task is, for example on the way in the subway, in the car, on the bike or while jogging. And then it can start to work in your head.

When you can then look at your cell phone again or sit at a computer, you write the “solution” and send it off. Simple as it is.

I find the idea great. I’m a fan of the JobChallenges anyway. And the addition of the audio component is wonderfully simple and smart.
