According to its own statements, ViewSonic has grown in the past few months in spite of the crisis and, for example, has made strong gains in the area of LED projectors. The display manufacturer is also relying on fresh energy in the field of marketing and appoints Katharina Winkelmann as Marketing Manager in the DACH region. Winkelmann studied media and political science at Maastricht University and started her professional career in corporate communications at Evonik. From there, she worked at TUI, where she was responsible for Digital Marketing & Content.
“ViewSonic has proven in the last few months that the growth of the past few years in the DACH region was no accident. The company has successfully positioned itself in several markets and is attacking the established providers. Together with the team, I would like to build on this, sharpen the profile in other submarkets and address future topics at an early stage, ”explains Winkelmann. “For example, our goal is to become a leading player in the education sector and to offer tailor-made solutions.”
For Thomas Müller, General Manager DACH at ViewSonic, targeted marketing is playing an increasingly important role: “Our portfolio is constantly expanding. We also see that customers increasingly want offers that go beyond pure hardware. The combination of hardware and software, through which specific solutions arise, is in demand more and more. This must also be conveyed accordingly in communication and marketing. With Katharina Winkelmann, we see ourselves as being particularly well positioned ”.
