Thanks to almost six years spent in this position, Iain Kennedy is the longest-serving chairman of the board in the history of the insurer “Balta”. Until 2007, he lived and worked in Great Britain, but an event in his private life made him evaluate the next path, and it brought him to Latvia.
In a conversation with “Delfi Bizness”, the manager of “Baltas” calls himself a real fan of the insurance industry and emphasizes that his career in this industry has given him the opportunity to work with excellent, inspiring people.
He also reveals that the last name – Kennedy – has brought him some extraordinary moments in his life, and he shares the experience with a smile.
Insurance joint stock company “Balta” was founded way back in 1992 and is part of the PZU group. Last year, the company worked with a profit of 10.8 million euros (unaudited profit), according to the information it provided.
