Faced with this reaction, those responsible for the official account of District 31 published a message on Tuesday in which they asked users to refrain from judging the physique of the actors. They also condemned the comments regarding their privacy. “We will not hesitate to ban a person who exceeds the limit of respect,” they added.

The team of District 31 confirm to Journal that it was a first intervention of its kind. Last year, Nancy Riopelle also aroused many fiery reactions, but they were not directed against her interpreter, Geneviève Schmidt. People were rather attacking the character.
