On Saturday morning, a person with a mental disability was approached by a man with bad intentions on Eikblokstraat in Deurne. He first demanded money from the victim and then took the wallet.
A witness intervened after which the wallet fell to the floor and the thief was unable to take any loot. The witness ran after the suspect. One of the patrols called up was able to stop the 18-year-old suspect. Police arrested the man and heard a loud shouting match.
