On Tuesday, a person was stabbed several times in the face in Sortland. The person did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
The police in Nordland informs X/Twitter that a person was stabbed several times in the face on Tuesday evening.
The person was taken to the emergency department by ambulance and is not expected to be life-threatening.
– A suspect was arrested by the police after a brief police operation, the police write in the report.
The police do not want to provide further information about where this happened, other than in Sortland, write VG.
The reason is currently unclear.
– It is not a case of blind violence, there was a situation just before the incident, but for the police this is currently unclear, says operations manager Kjetil Kolaas to the newspaper.
