– We received notification of the incident from several witnesses at 17.44. The injured are seriously injured and are being transported to hospital, says operations manager at the Oslo police district, Bjørn Gunnar Nyseter to TV 2.
The victim and the person arrested are men.
The victim is said to have been shot inside a car, where he was also found, the task force leader on the spot, Erling Olstad, informs TV 2.
The police also state that they have control of a firearm.
The incident allegedly took place in Tordenskiolds gate near the town hall in Oslo.
– We have arrested a person who we believe is the perpetrator, Nyseter says.
The police do not want to go into further details on those involved.
Oslo Police District writes on Twitter that they have started an investigation and are removing witnesses on the spot. Forensic science has moved out.
