Person hit by train causing service interruption on B and Q trains in NYC subway

A person was hit by the train this Tuesday morning, which caused the interruption of service on the B and Q Trains of the subway.

The accident was reported around 9:00 a.m. in Prospect Park by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA).

The interruption of service occurs in both directions on train B.

“Service on the B/Q trains is interrupted in Brooklyn until at least 10:15 in the morning,” they reported.

“B train service is disrupted in both directions and there is no southbound Q line train from 7th Avenue to W 8 Street.”

So far it has not been reported whether the victim died.

Although it is believed that the incident occurred due to a problem or damage to the rails, the MTA doubts that it was due to lack of maintenance. “We did an inspection in November,” said Richard Davey, president of NYC Transit.
