One person is now accused of leaving another person helpless, after a person was found dead in a house in Trøgstad in Østfold late Thursday evening.
This is what Operations Director Terje Marstad in the Eastern Police District tells NRK.
– There are circumstances at the scene that indicate we consider the death suspicious, Marstad said on Friday evening.
For investigative purposes, he will not say more about why the police consider the death suspicious.
The police do not want to say anything about the gender or age of the deceased, because next of kin have not been notified.
Person arrested
One person has been arrested in the case. The person was taken to the detention center for investigation and further questioning.
According to Marstad, police are now working to question several people.
– The deceased will undergo an autopsy and the scientific technicians are now on site, says the operations manager.
Police were notified by the health department of the incident at 10.40pm Thursday night, but only reported the death on Twitter at 3.00am Friday.
