DEN HELDER
A person died in the night from Sunday to Monday in a violent incident on the Ruyghweg in Den Helder. Another person has been arrested.

Police responded to a report of a fight around 4 a.m. Two people allegedly clashed. When the police arrived, the police found a person seriously injured on the street.
Emergency services arrived on the scene and took care of the victim. An air ambulance had landed on the sports field a short distance away. Despite the effort, the person died of his injuries.
