MAZATLÁN._ Due to the persistent rain that hit the port this Saturday afternoon, the development of the Lawyer’s Day Footrace failed to finish.
The athletic joust, which was in its 37th edition, only carried out half of the 11 categories called.
Prior to the start of the races on Avenida Quirino Ordaz Coppel, the protocol act and recognition delivery to Marco Alonso Verde Alvarezgold medalist in the boxing discipline at the San Salvador 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games.
Present at the table of honor were Fabiola Verde Rosas, director of the Mazatlán Municipal Sports Institute; Adriana Morales Acuña, president of the Genaro Estrada Bar Association, and Ernesto Kelly and Martín Morales Acuña, coordinators of the sports commission from the same union.
José Guadalupe López Ramos, head of the Municipal Athletics Committee, supported the logistics of the competition.
The current edition brought together just over 280 participants among the 11 categories called.
The race organized within the framework of the Lawyer’s Day, the competitions in the Master, Free, Submaster, Veterans, as well as People with disabilities remain to be carried out.
