SOLO – PSIS Semarang managed to win three important points over Persis Solo in the continued match of Group A President’s Cup 2022 on Tuesday (21/6/2022) afternoon WIB. Playing at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, the team nicknamed Laskar Mahesa Jenar with a thin score of 2-1.
PSIS became the first team to take the lead through Alfeandra Dewangga’s goal in the 38th minute. Then Persis was able to equalize in the 45+3 minute through the contribution of Fabiano Beltrame.
Then in the second half PSIS scored the winning goal through Carlos Fortes’ action. With the 2-1 result, PSIS is even more comfortable at the top of the Group A standings with a collection of seven points.
The course of the match

Both teams are still trying to play cautiously to attack early in the game. Persis and PSIS are still doing long pasing-pasing while waiting for the right time to launch a deadly attack.
After ten minutes, both teams are now increasing the intensity of the attack. Persis and PSIS have also managed to get several opportunities, but there are still no goals that can be created by both teams.
In the 27th minute, Persis got a golden opportunity after getting a corner kick which was quite difficult for the PSIS defense line. Unfortunately, Fabiano Beltrame’s hard kick was still too high so the position was still level at 0-0.
PSIS tried to improve creativity to attack in the last 15 minutes of the first half. As a result, Alfeandra Dewangga was able to make PSIS 1-0 up thanks to a header in the 38th minute that used a pass from Fredyan Wahyu.
After that, Persis tried to appear more aggressive in the remaining time of the first half. As a result, Fabiano Beltrame was able to equalize at 1-1 after successfully utilizing a pass from Aaron Evans very well in the 45+3 minute. The score lasted until halftime.
Second round
PSIS and Persis Solo are now both increasing the intensity of their attacks in the second half. It didn’t take long for both teams to be able to produce chances, but still no additional goals can be created.
Until the 60th minute, PSIS was able to create a better chance to regain the lead. However, Persis’s defense also performed well and continued to thwart PSIS’s chances.
After continuing to launch attacks, PSIS finally regained the lead in the 70th minute which was created by Carlos Fortes with a header that went straight to the goal of Persis. Now, PSIS again outperformed Persis with a score of 2-1.
Both teams continued to try to appear pressing to create additional goals. However, until the end of the match, neither team could score, so PSIS succeeded in winning over Persis Solo with a score of 2-1.
