Match Persija Jakarta against Persib Bandung at the Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK) was postponed. The delay was because the GBK Stadium had been ordered by music organizers girl band korean origin, Blackpink.
“From the GBK Main Stadium, Senayan, Central Jakarta (to convey) because it has beenbooking by the organizing committee for the Korean music show Blackpink and they have started building the stage,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko in his statement to reporters, Wednesday (1/3/2023).
The match is scheduled to take place on Saturday (4/3), around 15.00 WIB. However the match had to be postponed.
“The Persija Jakarta VS Persib Bandung match which was planned to take place on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 15.00 WIB, has been cancelled/postponed,” he said.
Trunoyudo added that the decision to postpone the match was still waiting for the New Indonesia League (LIB). They are still waiting for a delay letter from LIB.
“We are still waiting for the cancellation/postponement letter because we are still waiting for a letter from the New Indonesia League (LIB),” he said.
Whereas previously Trunoyudo had said the match could still take place. However, the match was confirmed without spectators.
“Yes, that’s right. Yes, without an audience,” he said.
