The Persib Bandung match against Dewa United will take place at the Dewa United Training Center, Tangerang, Banten.

For Persib, this is the only test match that will be held during the 2023/2024 League 1 break.

Facing this test match, Persib coach, Bojan Hodak provided his players with tactical material at a training session at Persib Stadium, Saturday, January 20 2024.

“Today (Saturday), training went well. We worked on technique, tactics and a few physical matters. This is our preparation for the test match against Dewa United,” said Bojan, after training.

Bojan also tried to combine a number of compositions, including involving two young players, Faris Abdul Hafidz and M. Adzikry.

After a week filled with programs to improve physical condition, Bojan felt the need to give playing minutes to his foster children.

“I hope I can unite all the players because all the players have the opportunity to play.

“Only after that, I will have several things in mind about who will appear in the next match (Persis Solo),” he explained.

Bojan Hodak said that the score of the test match against Dewa United was not the main target, but rather the suitability of the players’ play with their “newest” composition for the remaining matches this season.

“The priority is to see young players and see them play together. So, that’s why I will combine them later,” said Hodak when met at the Sidolig Stadium, Bandung, Saturday (20/1/2024).

Persib won against Dewa United in their last meeting in the second round of the 2023/2024 Liga 1 competition.
