The 2022 Presidential Cup Disciplinary Committee (Pandis) gave Persib Bandung a penalty. This is in the aftermath of the tragedy that killed two Bobotohs at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium, last June 17. The large number of spectators who wanted to watch Persib’s match against Persebaya created a stampede outside the stadium.
In a letter numbered 09/PP/SK/PANDIS/VI/2022 regarding the failure to carry out the responsibility to maintain order and security. Pandis has made a decision. Among other things, prohibiting Persib from holding matches at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium.
Due to the negligence of the local Persib Bandung Organizing Committee, Pandis also prohibited the Panpel from holding matches with spectators during the 2022 Presidential Cup. The Panpel party was also subject to a fine of Rp. 50 million. If there is a repetition of this violation, there will be a heavier penalty.
It did not stop there, there were two other sanctions that were also given by Pandis to Persib. Such as the letter numbered 10/PP/SK/PANDIS/VI/2022 regarding the responsibility for the behavior of supporters. This is related to the actions of supporters who shone a laser at the Persebaya goalkeeper.
For this incident, referring to Article 42 paragraph 1 (c) and paragraph 4 (c) in conjunction with Article 48 paragraph 1 (e) of the 2022 Presidential Cup Disciplinary Code, Persib was subject to a fine of Rp. 5 million. If there is a repetition of the related violation, it will result in a heavier penalty.
The final punishment for Persib is stated in letter number 11/PP/SK/PANDIS/VI/2022. Back to the responsibility for the behavior of supporters. Persib fined Rp. 40 million due to flares by large audiences in the North and South stands. As well as lighting smoke bombs in the North and Northwest stands.
In these three letters it is also stated that all decisions cannot be appealed.
