Persib Bandung won a landslide victory in its inaugural test match in Batam. David da Silva and his friends crushed Batam Renggalis Selection with a score of 10-0 in the match which was held at the Gelora Citra Mas Stadium, Wednesday (1/6). This is a series of training camp agendas carried out by the Maung Bandung squad.
In a match that was held in three rounds, Persib came down with the best composition available. Fitrul Dwi Rustapa appeared in goal. Henhen Herdiana, Nick Kuipers, Achmad Jufriyanto, David Rumakiek became the quartet at the back. Dedi Kusnandar became the defensive midfielder and Beckham Putra Nugraha was in front of him. Ciro Alves and Frets Butuan were placed as wingers and the striker duo was occupied by Ezra Walian and David da Silva.
This composition is enough to make Maung Bandung’s attack so biting. Ciro Alves opened the scoring with a hard kick to welcome Frets Butuan’s pass. David da Silva added to the lead a few minutes later with a long-range rocket. The brace produced by the Brazilian striker received Henhen Herdiana’s pass and closed the first half.
Entering the second half, David da Silva successfully recorded a hat trick using a wild ball in front of goal. Next Beckham Putra Nugraha contributed to a goal through a penalty kick that the goalkeeper failed to stop. Frets Butuan also contributed through his brilliant action to score two goals to Batam Renggalis Selection. Another goal in the second half came from Ciro Alves’ individual action.
The party of goals continued in the third half even though all the starters had been withdrawn. Erwin Ramdani scored from the penalty spot to make it 9-0. Febri Hariyadi also almost listed his name on the scoreboard because he was appointed as another penalty executioner. It’s just that his shot can be guessed by the goalkeeper. The goal feast was enhanced to 10-0 through Zalnando’s hard kick.
