Persela Lamongan cross out 5 players and bring in Dwi Kus

Persela Lamongan sent home his former goalkeeper, Dwi Kuswanto. Laskar Joko Tingkir also sent back 5 staring selection players Menpora Cup 2021.

Dwi Kuswanto, who is expected to be able to provide comfort to players in the defense sector, has been seen in the team training session which took place at the Surajaya Lamongan Stadium, Thursday (11/3/2021).

“With the entry of Dwi Kus, we add strength at the back to make it stronger, we also need senior goalkeepers,” said Persela coach Didik Ludianto to reporters, Thursday (11/3/2021).

This year is the third time for Dwi Kuswanto to wear the Persela Lamongan uniform. Previously, he strengthened Laskar Joko Tingkir in the 2016-2017 season and the 2018-2019 season.

Dwi Kuswanto returned to his arms Persela after his contract with Tira Persikabo ended and was not extended.

“Incidentally the contract there (Persikabo) has also expired, so we brought it here,” said Didik.

Apart from Dwi Kuswanto, the former Arema FC striker, Zidane Aldrin Constant Pulanda, was also seen training with Persela.

Meanwhile, Persela began to streamline his squad by eliminating 5 players, including the former Persipura player, Alvian Sanyi.

“There are several players who have been dropped, not because they are not good, but we will adjust it as needed because the quota in the 2021 Menpora Cup is limited,” Didik explained.

Apart from Alvian Sanyi, the names of the players were crossed out Persela are Aidil (ex Martapura FC), Syahrul Mustofa (ex-Badak Lampung FC), Ferel Vargianto (ex Persikabo) and Galih Maulana.
