A fire broke out on the night of Tuesday 30 to Wednesday 31 March, in Perrignier. The firefighters were called shortly after 11:30 p.m. to intervene on the site of a recycling company, Chemin des Artisans. On the spot, the firefighters observed a pile of 400 cubic meters of ignited waste.
The preserved company
They managed to extinguish the fire using 4 trucks, including a large scale. Fortunately, the incident did not have major consequences. No injuries are to be deplored and the company has been preserved, say the emergency services. The firefighters are still on site this Wednesday morning to ensure that there is no new fire start.
