“Perpetrator’s House Cordoned Off by Police Following MUI Shooting Incident”

Mustopa NR is the perpetrator shooting at the central MUI office, Jakarta. Mustopa’s house in Pesawaran, Lampung, is now cordoned off by the police.

Reported detikSumatra, Wednesday (3/5/2023), the Pesawaran Police Chief, AKBP Pratomo Widodo said there would be a search of Mustopa’s house. The search will be carried out by investigators from Polda Metro Jaya.

“We have carried out security at several points, including the perpetrator’s house. We have installed a police line with the aim of not damaging what investigators from Polda Metro Jaya will be looking for during a search tomorrow,” he said, Tuesday (2/5/2023).

monitoring detikcom, Mostopa’s house looks simple. Around Mostopa’s house, there were lots of guards from plainclothes police. The house is said to be occupied only by the perpetrator and his wife.

“Yes, he only lives alone with his wife, but sometimes his wife lives with her child. So sometimes he (Mustopa) lives alone,” said a local resident, Zainal.

From Zainal’s statement, the perpetrator’s child’s house was not far from where he lived. “It’s close, his son’s house is usually busy. If his house is quiet, it’s true,” he added.
