Case disclosure murder in Koja it started with a video that was circulating. Two people were seen lying on the street. Blood was also visible around the victim. The video recorder can be heard asking for help so that the victim is evacuated immediately. One victim died and one victim was injured.
The police then arrested two perpetrators with the initials SA (25) and IC (21). Meanwhile, the perpetrator with the initials TS is still being chased.
The two suspects who have been arrested are presented at a press conference at the North Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday (7/9/2023). The two suspects were wearing orange prison suits. When shown by the police, the suspects SA and IC only looked down.
Recidivists
North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Gidion Arif Setyawan explained that the suspect PA is a recidivist. The suspect PA was only released 5 months ago.
“The PA perpetrators were recidivists in a beating case that resulted in the death of someone in 2017. The TKP was at Pasar Koja Baru,” said Gidion at the Koja Police, North Jakarta, Thursday (7/9/2023).
Gidion said the suspect PA, who at that time was sentenced to 8 years in prison. It also turned out that PA had just been released five months ago.
“The PA perpetrators were sentenced to 8 years in prison, and only got out 5 months ago,” he said.
From this incident the perpetrator was charged with Article 338 juncto 170 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 351 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code with a criminal threat of 15 years in prison.
