After using a police helicopter in Rodgau-Weiskirchen, the police temporarily arrested three suspects on Wednesday night (25th) near Udenhoutstrasse.

At around 11.30 p.m., a witness reported that several people are said to be on a construction site next to a wholesaler. Theft has already occurred there in the past. In front of the property, the deployed police officers arrested a 34-year-old man in a van with Serbian license plates. A police helicopter called in was able to locate a 26-year-old and a 39-year-old suspect in a nearby field and then arrest them.

A stolen excavator was found on the loading area of the Serbian transporter, which had been stolen from the construction site there shortly before. The three burglars, who do not have a permanent residence in Germany, are now being investigated on suspicion of gang theft.

At the request of the Darmstadt public prosecutor’s office in Offenbach, the three men were brought before a judge. This issued a pre-trial detention order. The three men were admitted to correctional facilities.
