The Arena de Pernambuco signed, this Monday morning (10), the signing of a technical cooperation agreement with LaLiga, the entity that organizes the first and second division of the Spanish Championship. Pernambuco is the second Brazilian state to sign an alliance with the Spanish Football League. The agreement provides for various actions in areas such as the training of players, the promotion of sports for children and adolescents and support for the organization of sporting events.
“We are sure that this agreement will bring many good results to Pernambuco, not only in sports, but also in tourism. We already have Aena here, another Spanish company, which manages the Recife airport, and with LaLiga we will be even closer to Spain. We are going to reinforce this presence of Pernambuco in Europe to attract visitors as soon as direct flights to Spain resume ”, underlined the Secretary of Tourism and Leisure, Rodrigo Novaes.

“LaLiga is a world benchmark in sports entertainment, management and development. It is very important for us to be able to reach the Northeast thanks to a partner like Arena de Pernambuco, who shares the same values as us. This agreement will allow many possibilities for collaboration, such as training young people and adults in sports and academia, enhancing the tourist potential of Pernambuco and offering new entertainment opportunities for LaLiga fans in the Northeast ”, underlines Daniel Alonso, representative of LaLiga in Brazil. .
Among the possibilities of projects to be developed in collaboration between Arena and LaLiga are conferences and seminars aimed at those responsible for training amateur and professional football and for training professionals in the fields of leisure, football and education. There is also space for projects that promote the practice and development of sport in children and adolescents. The Pernambuco Arena will also benefit from La Liga’s support to attract and host sporting events.
