Jakarta

Bogor Regency COVID-19 Task Force refuses permission to carry out remembrance and milad Islamic Brotherhood Front in the courtyard of the Masjid At-Ta’awun Puncak. Although the permit was refused, the remembrance of the akbar and the anniversary of the Islamic Brotherhood Front were still held.

The event of remembrance of the akbar and the anniversary of the Islamic Brotherhood Front was broadcast live on the Islamic Brotherhood Television YouTube account, Sunday (2/1/2021). It appears that the stage has been filled with performers with a background picture of Habib Rizieq Shihab.

Prayers and dhikr recitations were recited from the stage followed by the congregation. The event looked solemnly followed by a number of congregations in attendance.

The event was stopped by the host of the event to hold the Isha prayer. After the evening prayer, the plan is to continue with the Prophet’s Birthday.

“After this, please pray the Isha prayer first. After the Isha prayer, return to the field, God willing, we will start reading the maulid,” said the event guide.

The Bogor Regency COVID-19 Handling Task Force previously rejected a permit application from the committee for the remembrance and celebration of the Islamic Brotherhood Front at the At-Ta’awun Mosque, Cisarua, tonight. The task force reasoned for the sake of handling COVID-19 in Bogor.

“The rejection is a joint effort in the context of preventing and controlling COVID-19 in Bogor Regency,” said the Daily Head of the Bogor Regency COVID-19 Handling Task Force, Burhanudin in his reply to the executive committee which he signed, as reported by Antara, Saturday (2/1).

Meanwhile, the Chair of the PA 212 National Tanfidzi Council (DTN), Slamet Maarif, said that Muslims in Bogor will hold a remembrance ceremony at the At-Ta’awun Puncak Mosque in the evening. Slamet Maarif said the event was an annual agenda as well as the anniversary of the Islamic Brotherhood Front.
