Permanent antigen testing in Gratkorn possible

From January 11th it will be possible in Styria to be tested for Covid-19 free of charge with rapid antigen tests at six test stations in Graz, Gleisdorf, Bruck an der Mur, Leibnitz, Judenburg and Liezen. This offer will be expanded by 13 additional locations from Friday, January 22nd, and marks the start of the regular population test. The aim of the campaign is that it is possible for all Styrians to be tested for the virus at regular intervals.

Permanent test stations are therefore also being built in the Graz area. In the north it is the market town of Gratkorn (in the music and art school, Schulgasse 6), in the south Zettling (in the ballroom, Laa 23).

Voluntary testing

“Even if a negative test should not weigh you down in a false sense of security, a large number of tests are still important in order to contain the incidence of infection. Therefore, I ask the Styrians to take this voluntary option in the next few weeks,” says Deputy Governor Anton Long.
The locations will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Friday until 8 p.m. and every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The registration takes place again online via the federal registration tool be possible, registration by telephone is also planned. The locations are operated by the State of Styria with the support of the Federal Army. The spatial infrastructure is provided by the municipalities.
