Performative music concert. Soundinitiative from Paris

One of the leading avant-garde ensembles in Europe, soundinitiative “Liepājas Mākslas forum” will offer a unique listening experience – an interactive musical performance, in which the performances of compositions will intertwine with audiovisual improvisations, theater elements, video and electronics. Artists have created a special program for the “Lielā dzintara” premises, which will merge the boundaries between styles, aesthetics and the role of the performer.

The performative music concert will feature musical improvisations, original works by ensemble artists and works by the creators of modern sound art – Anna Korsun, Julien Malaussen, James Saunders and other contemporary composers. The program also includes a special mise-en-scène created by Franco Venturini with four performers and a pianist interacting with the internal parts of the piano and its acoustic potential, creating gestural and soundscapes.
