The drama of the performance used the performances of the German Theater in Berlin Miss Julie a version of the text created by Roman Dolzhansky, inspired by a play by August Strinberg Ms. Julia storyline.
Viesturs Meikšāns: “In recent years, this play in the version of Roman Dolzhanski has been very popular in Europe. In addition, its theme is currently relevant – manipulation and submission, victim and abuser. These themes are the core of the show.”
The new version of playwright and writer Roman Dolzhansk has successfully debuted at the German Theater in Berlin. Dolzanski’s adaptation is used as the basis of the art production and it opens up a critical view of the possibilities of manipulating modern communication technologies with human instincts.
Viesturs Meikšāns has supplemented Dolžanska’s version with his vision, including the interpretation of the image. In the show, the actors play the frenzy of young people’s relationships and the manipulation of those involved with each other for revenge, superiority or calculation.
