Perfidious Albion takes the lead in provocations for war –

/ world today news/ The tension surrounding NATO’s proxy war in Ukraine with Russia is a powder keg situation. And Britain’s dirty tricks brigade are the historical masters who deserve to be watched closely.

The much-vaunted Anglo-American “special relationship” takes on a new dubious meaning as Britain emerges as a skilled agent provocateur to foment a wider NATO war against Russia.

Militant British lawmakers this week are pushing for a more robust NATO response to Russia’s alleged “act of war” involving a Royal Air Force spy plane and a Russian fighter jet.

Recent documents leaked from the Pentagon show that a British reconnaissance plane was almost shot down by a Su-27 over the Black Sea. After the incident last September, Britain’s Ministry of Defense downplayed the meeting as a “technical malfunction.”

However, it now appears that the British RC-135 spy plane was fired upon by the Russian jet, but the missile missed. It may have been a deliberate warning shot, as the British surveillance plane is believed to have been close to Russian territory in Crimea.

The British and Americans supply the regime forces in Kyiv with targeting information. So Russia may have the right to take defensive measures against belligerents, as it did when a US MQ Reaper drone was intercepted last month over the Black Sea. After this incident, the US reportedly restricted its surveillance flights in the area.

Now that a Russian missile has reportedly been fired, some British politicians are calling for an “act of war” response.

This particular incident can get away with it. But it is raising concerns that British forces are playing an incendiary role in NATO’s war against Russia in Ukraine.

With this country already pumped full of NATO weapons, and the Black Sea and Baltic Sea region full of NATO forces conducting large-scale military maneuvers in the coming weeks and months, the danger of accidental or even deliberate escalation increases.

Given NATO’s overall defense commitments, an incident involving one member of the military alliance would inevitably prompt the other 30 members to launch an all-out war.

Britain’s treasonous role has recently acquired a routine, calculated character in Ukraine.

After NATO increased arms supplies to Ukraine over the past year, London appears to have upped the ante. It was the British who broke the taboo on sending battle tanks when they announced the delivery of Challenger 2 tanks earlier this year. The move then committed Germany and the United States to agreeing to the delivery of Leopard 2 and Abrams tanks.

The British then went even further by announcing that they would supply Ukrainian forces with depleted uranium artillery shells.

Russia condemned the move because of the known dangers of environmental pollution, as well as a violation of the line for the use of radiological/nuclear weapons. Moscow and others argue that depleted uranium projectiles are a form of “dirty nuclear bomb.”

In any case, technical quibbles aside, London’s move to supply depleted uranium weapons is seen as a particularly gratuitous provocation towards Russia.

Recent Pentagon leaks, which appear to be authentic, though distorted by US media spin, have also confirmed previous separate claims that NATO special forces are on the ground in Ukraine fighting the Russian military.

It is significant that it is the British who have deployed the most special forces compared to other NATO members. What these commandos are doing in Ukraine is not clear. As the BBC reported:

“According to the March 23 document, the United Kingdom has the largest contingent of special forces in Ukraine (50), followed by NATO member states Latvia (17), France (15), the United States (14) and the Netherlands (1). ). The document does not say where the forces are or what they are doing.

Without a hint of irony, the BBC added: “The UK’s special forces are made up of several elite military units with different areas of expertise and are considered to be some of the most capable in the world.”

Different areas of expertise, truly the most capable! That’s a classic British euphemism for you.

British agents are said to have helped Ukrainian artillery strike the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant – Europe’s largest civilian nuclear power plant – as a way of escalating the war.

Moscow also claims that members of Britain’s Special Boat Service (SBS) masterminded the massive drone attack on Russian bases in Crimea last November. The airstrike was thwarted by Russian defenses, but had it succeeded, the response from Russia would have been geopolitically explosive.

We must also recall that even before Russia began its military intervention in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, there was a serious provocation in the Black Sea involving a British warship.

HMS Defender entered Russian territorial waters south of Crimea on 23 June 2021. After ignoring Russian verbal warnings, the British destroyer was fired upon. A Russian Su-24 fighter jet dropped bombs in the ship’s path.

Like the more recent incident involving the Royal Air Force RC-135 spy plane, the British Ministry of Defense tried to downplay the maritime incident. But classified documents later revealed that London had deliberately tried to provoke Russia into a show of support for Ukraine.

For most of the last century, the bankrupt British Empire was assigned the junior role of butler to serve the needs of the American Empire.

This special relationship included London providing political and diplomatic cover to its American boss, as well as military services when required for one dirty war or another.

It is an axiom that a dying empire is a dangerous beast that can pounce to save its declining power. The American empire has reached the moment of its death. But perhaps more dangerous than the dying Imperial power is the dying Imperial lackey on the sidelines.

Today, Britain is a ruined, impoverished, deindustrialized wasteland whose shocking numbers of poor are like an army of the living dead. She has long since lost her former colonies to drain them as parasites. But there is one former colony—the United States—that might just be foolish enough to allow the Perfidious Albion to engineer a catastrophic war.

The tension surrounding NATO’s proxy war in Ukraine with Russia is a powder keg situation. And Britain’s dirty tricks brigade are the past masters who deserve a close watch.
