Juan Dolio, S.P.M. – Metro Country Club welcomed 104 avid golfers in the celebration of the fourth edition of the tournament “Golf, Cigar and Music 2021″, in which the pair made up of Leo Pérez Freixas and Johnny Morales won the best gross score of the event (61), thus becoming absolute champions of the event that was played under the Scramble format in Pairs. The event was organized by Iván Fernández, President of Events & Projects EFEGE, under the technical direction of Felix Olivo.
During the closing speech, Iván Fernández expressed his gratitude to the players and the brands that supported the event. “We managed to mount a good tournament in the middle of the pandemic, observing all the health and distancing protocols. We thank the sponsors, the participants and the Metro Country Club and all its staff, we thank them for the attention and the set-up of the field so that our players had this great experience ”, expressed Fernández.
In addition to Pérez and Morales, the following couples were the winners (net score): Category A: 1st. Place, Marcos Rodriguez and Eduardo Creque (61), 2nd. Manuel Durán and Mario Saviñón (62) *, and 3rd., Wilson Rodriguez and Christian Rodriguez (61) *. Category B: 1st. place, Fede and Tomás Lebrón (60) *, 2nd. Jonathan Zapata and José Nicasio (61) *, and 3rd. Ralph Canale and Carlos Azar (60) *. Category C: 1st. Place, Ramón Cruz and Cesar Vicioso (63) *, 2nd. Raúl Sánchez and Enrique Pacheco (63) * and 3rd. place, Manuel and Juan Cohen (69). In the special awards, Andy Lee won the longest drive (hole 1), and Ricardo de Soto the approach to the flag (hole 15).
