Sheila E. is working on a film about her collaboration with Prince, the pop legend who passed away in 2016. That made the 63-year-old percussionist known Facebook.
The project, entitled Girl Meets Boy, will be released soon, according to E. (full name Escovedo).
Escovedo first met Prince at a concert in the late 1970s. Among other things, she was involved in the recording sessions of Purple Rain, one of Prince’s most famous songs.
Later, Sheila E. and her band were allowed to support the tour of the same name. A special relationship developed between the two, which the film will also be about. The American remained a friend of Prince until his death.
