Percussion and brass resonate in the streets of Villeurbanne from April 29 to May 1

The streets and parks of Villeurbanne will live, for three days, to the rhythm of percussion and brass. A festival organized by the Villeur’Brass Band.

The Fefan brings together, from April 29 to May 1, nine brass bands from Lyon and Villeurbannaisesamong, the Kraposthe Mammoths Brass Band, the Beatume Orchestra or even le Tar’taraf. Three days of concerts scattered in fifteen different spots of which the Tramway T4 or the Doua university campus. Urban concerts that will explore a broad musical panorama, from jazz to rock, via the American brass band and original compositions. The ZAC of the Gratte-ciel district will host, on Saturday April 30, a giant gigwhere all the brass bands will perform.

The Villeur’Brass Band

A fifteen young musicians from the Villeurbanne music schoolfounded, in 2016, the Villeur’bass Band. With a repertoire that it defines as “cosmopolitan”, the young brass band offers numerous covers and original compositions. From street concerts at eventsthe Villeur’Brass Band performs throughout the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and almost everywhere in France, to make all generations dance.
