AN AMERICAN IN TOURCOING
A great success for the second edition of gold pole vaulting in Tourcoing, this third round of the French Athletics Federation competition attracted 950 spectators. It was the silver medalist at the Tokyo Games, Christopher Nilsen, who won this 2022 edition.
With the London Olympic champion, Renaud Lavillenie, the silver medalist in Tokyo Christopher Nilsen or the French record holder Ninon Chapelle, the large public attended a beautiful evening of pole vaulting this Saturday evening at the Léo Lagrange complex.
For his return to competition, the Clermontois took second place with a jump to 5.81 m. A competition won by the American Christopher Nilsen, who signed the second best performance of the year (6.02 m).
