Per Sandberg and Bahareh Letnes at odds over shared bar after split

On Sunday evening, Per Sandberg (63) and Bahareh Letnes (33) reported that they had gone their separate ways, after five years as lovers.

During the five years Sandberg and Letnes were a couple, they had several projects together.

Among other things, they participated in both “Skal vi danse” and “Charterfeber” together, in addition to the duo having started both a bar and a hotel in Halden.

Now, however, it seems that the ex-couple are at odds over the future of the bar.

The bar continues

When Nettavisen took the trip to Halden and exparets bar this week, Sandberg could tell that it is unclear what is happening with the bar forwards.

– It’s a good question that neither Bahareh nor I have an answer to now, the 63-year-old told Nettavisen and continued:

– We both have many projects and interests. But how it will turn out in the future remains to be seen.

Soon after Sandberg’s statements, however, Letnes took to Instagram’s story function, where she, for her part, has the answer to what is happening with their shared bar.

And according to the 33-year-old, the bar and hotel are not closing down any time soon.

“As long as I live, the Grand Bar and Hotel will live on. Don’t listen to rumours,” writes the 33-year-old.

Nettavisen has been in contact with Letnes, who does not wish to comment beyond the Instagram post.

Per Sandberg emphasizes to Nettavisen that he has never meant for the bar to close down. In a text message to Nettavisen, Sandberg writes the following:

– The Grand Bar will continue to be a fantastic meeting place. There is nothing to suggest otherwise. That we discuss structures and progress is completely normal, he writes.

In other words, the operation of both the bar and the hotel will continue until further notice, while Sandberg himself takes a trip abroad.

This week he is embarking on a planned trip to Asia.

– I will visit some family, I also hope and believe that I will start some form of trade with Asia, Sandberg told Nettavisen earlier this week, without wanting to elaborate further.

– So it’s not like you’re fleeing the country after the breakup now?

– No, the trip was booked a long, long time ago.

In March this year, the TV series “Per & Baharehs Grand Hotel” premiered on TV 2 Play and TV 2 Zebra. In the series, the audience saw how it goes when the couple take over the Grand Hotel in the center of Halden, and together have to be responsible for running both the hotel and the bar. The series ended on March 29.
