The Waves, ranked No. 8 nationally, improved to 11-6 on the season and 6-2 in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation, while BYU fell to 5-11 overall and 2-5 in the conference. It was a dominating performance by Pepperdine, who won all three sets, and the victory was especially sweet for the seniors who were recognized before the game. The win is a testament to the Waves’ relentless work ethic and great team chemistry, and it bodes well for their postseason hopes. Let’s take a closer look at how the match played out.

In the end, Pepperdine proved to be the stronger team on Senior Day, sweeping BYU and clinching their spot in the WCC tournament. The Waves showed a great deal of resilience and determination, leaving it all on the court to honor their seniors in the best way possible. It’s moments like these that truly showcase the value of senior leadership and the importance of playing with heart and passion until the very end. We wish the best of luck to Pepperdine as they continue their season and have no doubt that they will continue to make waves in the WCC. Congratulations, Waves!
