Manchester City get full points at the start Premier League 2020/2021. The Citizens managed to win 3-1 over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Playing at Molineux Stadium, Tuesday (9/22/2020) early morning WIB, City took control of the game from Wolves from the early minutes. However, the goal of The Citizens could only be born through Kevin De Bruyne’s penalty execution.

City was only able to score a goal through open play in the 32nd minute. Is Phil Foden, who successfully tore the Wolves goal. Score 2-0 lasted until halftime.

Rui Patricio makes a save in the 11th minute. He nicely brushed off the ball from Kevin De Bryune’s free shots.

During the 15 minutes of the game, Man City could not open another shot apart from De Bruyne’s free kick. Pep Guardiola’s team is busy looking for ways to flow the ball into the Wolves penalty box.

City were awarded a penalty in the 19th minute after De Bruyne was brought down by Romain Saiss. The Belgian attacking midfielder came forward as the executor of the penalty and managed to bring The Citizens to a 1-0 lead.

Wolves received another threat from Man City in the 30th minute. Sterling managed to open a shot from inside the penalty box, but did not produce a goal after the ball was caught by Patricio.

City doubled the score in the 32nd minute. De Bruyne’s through ball was directed at Sterling. The bait was then released to Phil Foden, who was completed into a goal.

The pressure continued to be launched by City on the Wolves defense even though they were 2-0 up. On the other hand, the home team has not been able to provide significant threats.

De Bruyne almost increased City’s lead in the 43rd minute. He fired from close range, but was able to be pushed over by Patricio. The 2-0 score lasted for City until halftime.

Wolves played more aggressively in the second half. An attempt was released by Daniel Podence in the 53rd minute even though he had not met the target. Five minutes later Podence let go of another experiment. The ball shot still has not met the target.

City slowly took over control of the game. Short passes continued to be played to redeem the Wolves defense.

Wolves hard work to reduce the deficit to 1-2 sweet fruit in the 78th minute. Fabio Silva’s cross ball was continued through Raul Jimenez’s header.

City managed to complete the match with a 3-1 win. This is because Gabriel Jesus contributed a goal at the end of the match.
