He People’s Party has achieved a resounding victory in the 2023 municipal elections in Lucena. The popular will have 10 councilors (they had 6), surpassing a PSOE that remains at six councilors (it had 10). Ciudadanos maintains its two seats in the municipal plenary session, like VOX. With Andalusia, the last mayor who completes the 21 seats in the plenary session of the Lucentino consistory is noted.
The results in the Lucentina town draw a mayor’s office in the hands of the popular, with Aurelio Fernandez Garcia in the lead, since the political forces of the right bring together 14 councilors, for the 7 of the left.
