The deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People faction, Oleksandr Skichko, was deprived of his powers in connection with the appointment of the head of the Cherkasy regional state administration.
The powers of the People’s Deputy from the For Maybutn group, Igor Kolykhaev, were terminated, since he was elected mayor of Kherson.
In the event that they entered the Rada according to the list, the following numbers from this list could enter the parliament. However, Skichko became the people’s deputy, having won in the 197th district in the Cherkasy region, and Kolykhaev – after winning in the district No. 184 of the Kherson region.
This means that the Central Election Commission must appoint by-elections in these constituencies in order to elect two new people’s deputies who will enter the Verkhovna Rada instead of Skichko and Kolykhaev.
