Heater manufacturers in China’s eastern Zhejiang province are enjoying growing demand from overseas customers, especially those in Europe, where the energy crisis is in full swing. This is the case of a company in the city of Tsisi.
“On the first production line there are heaters for customers from Germany and there are additional orders. The second line appliances will be delivered to the UK. And the production behind me is destined for France. The peak for export of products to Europe usually ends in September, but now we are working overtime in October, “says the manager of an appliance company, Chen Wen, quoted by BNT.
Additional orders are common for businesses in the city.
“One of our customers ordered 50,000 units, but sales were doing so well that he asked for another 50,000,” said Sun Ji.
The export price of heating equipment in Cixi from January to August this year is approximately $ 462 million. On an annual basis, the increase is 26 percent. Exports to the European Union increased by 55%. An e-commerce entrepreneur with Europe and the United States explains it.
