33.70% or 96,734 people voted for the local elections by 5 p.m., 29.95% or 92,137 people voted for the referendum. The difference with the previous elections continues to be within three percent – then until this hour 39.61 people went to the polls.
Traditionally in Plovdiv, at the end of the election day, there is a stir in the Roma neighborhoods, this to some extent changes the results obtained during the day.
In the Plovdiv region, 40.90% of all voters voted for the local elections by 5 p.m. As in all elections, the largest number of votes was cast in Brezovo – there the result was 43.29%, only this time Kuklen was ahead of him by 20 hundredths of a percent. The lowest voter turnout was in Krichim – 21.98%.
The votes for the national referendum totaled 32.59% or 200,589 for the district by 5 p.m.
