The decision of “Yes, Bulgaria” to remain in the coalition “We continue the change-Democratic Bulgaria” was explained this morning by the deputy from the party Nadezhda Yordanova with the fact that “the democratic community needs to mobilize its efforts”.
Last night, the formation announced that it remains in a coalition with the PP-DB to participate in the elections on October 27.
“This decision was taken after a long debate and it reflects the view of us in “Yes, Bulgaria” that in the seventh early parliamentary elections within 4 years, the democratic community needs to mobilize its efforts and give a clear answer to this extremely deep political crisis,” Yordanova pointed out.
However, the party sets specific goals for the current vote. One is to restore the trust in the coalition of at least 100,000 of the voters lost in the last vote, and the second is to establish the coalition as a secure mandate holder with a view to the full implementation of the governing formula approved by the coalition.
“One of the important topics is that we have a form of governing the country. The goal of our formula is to define the broadest possible support for a government with anti-corruption policies, which would be headed by a prime minister distant from the parties,” another representative of “Yes, Bulgaria” Bozhidar Bojanov told Nova TV.
“It is clear that parties bear political responsibility for a government. Over the years, we have come to feel that if we say “experts, they will fix things” – “the parties are bad, the experts are good”, Bojanov believes.
