Times Square was rocked by a huge bang yesterday morning. Images of people running through the streets are circulating on social media. The explosion was the result of a cable break. The break would have caused a fire in an underground pipe, after which an explosion occurred. There would be no damage to the buildings. Emergency services immediately arrived on the scene. No one was injured.
