People in shelters are vaccinated against COVID-19 to avoid wasting doses

(CRHoy.com) Between yesterday, Saturday, July 24 and today, July 25, the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) saved doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 and He placed them on people who are in shelters in Talamanca and Siquirres.

In the rain and in coordination with the National Commission for Risk Prevention and Emergency Attention, health personnel shelters were mobilized to immunize people, who are now homeless and affected by climate donations.

In the Talamanca shelter there are around 200 evacuated people, where a total of 66 doses of vaccines against COVID-19 and 29 of influenza vaccine.

Similarly, the Siquirres Health Area visited the shelters where around 120 people remain and the vaccine against COVID-19 to 30 people who had not received it yet.
