On Saturday, the stage was set for the semi-finals of «Maskorama».
–
– I have had so much fun, and I have especially had a lot of fun with people being so confused, said artist and songwriter Margaret Berger (36) after revealing herself.
She tells VG that the confusion has made it easier to keep the participation hidden.
– People have been so confused that they have not masturbated. I have spoken in a different way, and tried to put songs in a different rent than I usually sing.
For many have thus been confused by the hints of Nøkken. In the intro video, nature, tents and hints of outdoor life have been shown.
– Are you a tour person, asked host Silje Nordnes.
– No, I hate tents. But I think people hung up on that hint, but then it was just a house with the pond.

Another hint several have hung up on is that Nøkken is in love with love and has lived alone for a long time. To VG, she says that this is far from the case today.
– I have both a partner and children, so I have absolutely all the love I need. The love-sick Nøkken was probably more of a character we have tried to create – a slightly misunderstood monster, she says and adds:
– I have received so many letters from children, and it is so cozy that there have been so many who fell a little for this ugly monster.
She says most of all it has been an incredibly fun experience.
– I have also had clauses. It has been one of the strangest experiences of my life.
Sang duet
Four participants remained in this year’s “Maskorama” before tonight’s broadcast: Snømonsteret, Bamsen, Dragen and Nøkken.
In the end, it was clear that it was the latter who had to take off the mask, and thus did not advance to the final.
The participants performed as usual alone, but this evening they were also to sing a duet with profiled artists.

Those who got the honor of singing with the masks are former “Star Wars” winner Bilal Saab, artist Sandra Lyng and last year’s “Maskorama” winner Ulrikke “Trollet” Brandstorp.
In addition, judge Marion Ravn sang duet with the Snow Monster.
Last year, Brandstorp fooled everyone when she herself appeared as the duet partner with the Viking just before the Troll was to sing his song. So here anything could happen.
