UTARA ACEH (RA) – The public is asked not to be afraid of outpatient treatment and inpatient treatment at the Cut Meutia General Hospital (RSUCM) North Aceh in the Buket Rata area of Lhokseumawe. Although during the Covid-19 pandemic, RSUCM was one of the referral hospitals for Covid-19 patients.
This was conveyed by the Public Relations of the Cut Meutia General Hospital, North Aceh, Jalaluddin, confirmed by the Acehnese yesterday. He said,
services for the general public provided by the RSU are uninterrupted and safe, even though they are Covid-19 referral hospitals.
“Services for Covid-19 patients who have been treated so far are far from the general patient rooms,” he said, adding that the Covid-19 ICU room and Pinere room were separate and far from the places where ordinary patients were treated.
For this reason, he asked the public not to be influenced by untrue issues. For example, if a general patient is treated at the Cut Meutia General Hospital, the food will be contaminated with Covid-19 patients. “That’s not true, because Covid-19 patients have been treated in a special room away from the activities of residents who visit families who are being treated,” he said.
Therefore, he continued, for people who need help and care, don’t be afraid. But still comply with health protocols when visiting Cut Meutia RSU which is labeled type B education. (arm/icm)
