Anete from Ropaži region plays in the orchestra of Bergi Music and Art Primary School (Bergi MMS). The young violinist is also a participant of the XII Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Festival.

The member of the orchestra managed to feel the festive atmosphere even in spite of the unusual holiday format, namely, due to the restrictions of the pandemic and COVID-19, the so-called E-holiday took place this year.
It is, of course, good that some alternative has been found so that it does not break down at all. But I’ve watched a lot from the sidelines – both the marches and how others in my family are participating, but I myself have never been. I will probably one day experience this feeling, as it is at the real Song and Dance Festival. But, yes, did not meet this year.

The conductor and master of the orchestra in capital letters Egils Šketris believes that the decision to create the E-holiday format has proved to be the right one. In addition, this time everyone is given the opportunity to shine and stand out. Almost each of the bands participated in a special filming session. Šķetris emphasizes that students and team leaders, as well as others involved, have worked hard, so the holiday should not be completely denied.
