The fans have definitely not forgotten about Master and they come to his grave in Malvazinky from all over the country. Legendary singer Karel Gott left for the musical heaven on October 1, 2019 before midnight in Prague. In the last months of his life, Karel Gott fought leukemia like a lion.
Unfortunately, he was unable to win this fight. The news of his death crushed countless of his fans across Europe.
“With the deepest sorrow in my heart, I announce that yesterday (Tuesday), shortly before midnight, my beloved husband Karel Gott left us after a severe and long illness. He left at home, in a quiet sleep, in the circle of his family, “said Ivana Gottová at the time.
Charles did not leave only a widow Ivana Gottovábut also daughters Charlotte Ellu, Nelly Sofii, Dominika Gottová a Lucia Kovaříková.
On the anniversary of his death, countless people, fans and lovers of the Master went to the cemetery in Malvazinky.
Karel Gott’s grave cannot be overlooked now. Crowds of people filled him with candles, beautiful wreaths, flowers, little angels and other memorabilia.
