Peony Garden Unveiled in Bulgaria to Celebrate 75 Years of China-Bulgaria Relations

The highlight was the unveiling of the Peony Garden themed "Harmony and Mutual Learning among Civilizations," commemorating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Bulgaria.
A Blossoming Friendship
The initiative brought 700 exquisite peonies from Heze to Bulgaria, symbolizing the deepening ties between the two nations. These flowers were elegantly transplanted at notable sites such as the Bulgarian Presidential Palace, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences Botanical Garden, and the Agricultural University Plovdiv, among others. The first unveiling ceremony took place at South Park in Sofia, Bulgaria’s capital, under the watchful eyes of representatives from pertinent governmental bodies.
“This incredible fusion of Chinese peonies and Bulgarian roses goes beyond mere horticulture; it represents a harmonious dialogue between our cultures,” remarked Li Dongyan, head of the Heze delegation.
